The Slimmer, Ambidextrous, Single Attachment Version of the SPEAR that can allow your pistol to go from a Primary to a Back Up Gun role in a matter of seconds by switching the attachment side.

The SPEAR-BUG is the Back Up Gun version of the popular SPEAR System that is redefining Appendix and IWB Carry. Though it can be used and is available for fullsize pistols, it is designed and works best for Compact, SubCompact, and Pocket pistols. The Sweat Guard is Ambidextrous and being that the only attachment point is beneath the trigger guard, the BUG is fully Ambidextrous. It's a matter of loosening two screws and moving the chosen Belt Attachment to the other side to move your pistol from a Primary (Strongside) to a Back Up Gun (Support Side) role.

The single Belt Attachment point is placed so that the pistol is balanced and the grip is tucked tightly into the body for optimal concealment. By using one attachment point, the shell of the holster is even slimmer than the standard SPEAR. The holster is fully Tuckable for complete concealment under the shirt.

The recommended Inward Cant Overhook or Inward Cant Soft Loop Strut will keep the pistol from sagging. This is the same system the SPEAR uses, but the BUG uses just a single attachment. This attachment system will "collapse" when seated or bending over, therefore increasing comfort and accessibility. Upon standing, the plastic will instantly flex and go back to providing a tight "grip tuck". Please note that a second belt attachment can never be added to the BUG version of the SPEAR. This second attachment helps lock larger pistols in place on the belt, adds further Grip Tuck, and allows more Cant / Ride Height adjustment. If a second attachment is desired, please see the other SPEAR options.

The Grip Tuck Foam (sold seperately) can be added to provide even more "grip tuck" and potential comfort, though it isn't necessary for most users.
